Collecting feedback is only the first step. The real impact comes from taking action. Regular one-on-one conversations give team members a place to share their thoughts.

The annual Great Place to Work® Survey also provides helpful insight. By reviewing those results and following up consistently, we can better understand what employees need. We can also turn feedback into meaningful improvements.

I believe transparency builds trust. Even when every suggestion cannot be implemented, communication matters. It is important to explain the “why” behind decisions and speak openly with the team.

This time of year is when we begin planning for our 2027 Business Plan. I am excited to use employee feedback to help shape that plan. Their ideas will help us continue going far together as a team in 2027.

Every suggestion, concern, and idea is an opportunity to improve. Feedback helps us strengthen our workplace, support retention, and better serve our residents and team members.
