Vitalia Senior Residences at Strongsville Uses Halloween for Some Fun Opportunities

There is no doubt that events and celebrations pull people together. Here at Vitalia Senior Residences at Strongsville, we believe Halloween is a perfect time to build up our team and encourage workplace camaraderie. It helps create traditions, provides opportunities for intergenerational fun, and builds positive morale within the team. Plus, it’s a great holiday to let the team break loose and plan some seasonal fun! 

This year, our team will be doing pumpkin carving, cookie decorating, and costume contests for both the residents and employees. We’ll also have trick-or-treating, allowing children of our residents and employee families to attend and interact with one another as they go throughout our community in their costumes. This creates a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween without missing out on any candy. Also, the residents will decorate wine bottles with Halloween designs or create their own masterpieces to display around the community. Finally, we will host a big Halloween celebration for all employees with a food truck, games, and music.

Traditions like this are important because it brings everyone together with cohesiveness, fun, joy, and laughter. It builds even a stronger bond between residents and employees, showing you can have genuine fun in the workplace and create moments we all can remember.
