Employee recognition is just as it sounds: recognizing and thanking employees for their hard work and effort. At Vitalia Strongsville, we like to show this appreciation in several ways. From social recognition, milestone awards, or our weekly creative follow-ups (CFUs), we always take a moment for our hard-working team members.
As the Business Office Director, part of my role is to promote employee appreciation. This past year, my favorite CFU celebrated the employee who always gives “A Smile.” Sharing a smile can make anyone’s day better, and it shows the genuine characteristics of an individual.
This is just one example of the many wonderful team members we have. We genuinely believe when done right, employee recognition creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
