She always had something to do and people to spend time with, which meant the world to her (and to us). The staff was so kind and always made her feel at home. Jill, the Activity Coordinator, always made sure her social calendar was full. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was happy, had a diverse social life, and was surrounded by friends. “My mom loves to the size of her one bedroom apt. The staff work hard to get to know my mom and always use her name when greeting. The food is delicious and I have eaten with my mom several times. There are plenty of activities and dates and times are listed on a monthly calendar one of which is for the entire month while a condensed version is provided for the week. My mom likes that she can view one week at a time. I like how the facility provides things to do that are not necessarily on the calendar like puzzles and games. My mom says that she feels very safe and secure when going to bed at night as she knows people are around when she needs them. She felt anxious being alone in her home after my dad passed. She enjoys the comfort Vitalia brings.”
